Memories Lost is a documentary project about films that disappeared. Did you know that half of all films made before 1950 are missing? Or that more than 80% of silent era films are lost?

Most people are shocked to discover how fragile our film heritage actually is. With Memories Lost, which is currently in production, I shine a spotlight on films that have disappeared, asking: Why did they vanish? Did films go missing because they weren't any good? Or have lost masterpieces?
